Staff member for the Green Room at North Zealand Hospital

Would you like to help ensure fresh and tasty vegetables for patients, staff and guests at North Zealand Hospital?

We are looking for an engaged employee for our greens room for 37 hours weekly with start time 6:00-13:24 and a shift every 3rd weekend.

You can be a trained nutrition assistant, untrained, or come with another relevant background. The most important is that you thrive with practical work, have a sense of quality and preferably experience with production in larger quantities.

Who are we?

We are a modern artisanal kitchen with focus on high quality, good ingredients and pride in our craft. Each day we produce meals for patients, staff and guests at North Zealand Hospital, and we place great emphasis on both taste, quality and good culinary craftsmanship.

We produce most of our products ourselves. The bread comes from our own bakery, and the cold cuts are produced in our own deli department. In addition, we work purposefully with organic farming, sustainability and development of our kitchen.

About the position

You will become part of our greens room, where the daily tasks include among others

• Rinsing, cleaning and preparing vegetables for daily production
• Preparation of pickled products and other prepared vegetable products
• Operation of machines and equipment for vegetable processing
• Ensuring high quality and good hygiene in the production

The work takes place in a production kitchen with a high tempo, where structure, collaboration and quality are decisive for daily operations.

• Would like to have experience with production of food in large quantities
• Experience from large-scale kitchens, catering, food production or similar is beneficial
• Have focus on quality and good hygiene
• Work structured and can keep overview in a busy daily life

Salary and terms of employment are according to current collective agreement and after agreement with the negotiating organization.
