Sceneteknisk assistent til Den Danske Scenekunstskole i Holstebro

Do you have the right hands-on skills? Are you not afraid to roll up your sleeves or throw yourself into new challenges? Do you dream of being part of a creative community? Then you will be the right colleague for the Performing Arts School's campus in Holstebro.

We are looking for a colleague with a desire to take on a wide range of practical and technical tasks related to the daily operations of the programme. We need you to prepare teaching rooms for upcoming teaching, keep the audio and lighting equipment and other technology in order, as well as be responsible for providing technical support (programming) for and running the programmes' projects.

You will also be responsible for internal maintenance of the premises in collaboration with the technical staff at Holstebro Music Theatre (where we will be based from 2027) and for keeping our house in order. In addition, there will be ongoing ad hoc tasks, which can range from fetching catering to filming the students' performances.

At the Performing Arts School's campus in Holstebro we train dancers. You will become part of a vibrant and inspiring house that never stands still. As a stage technician assistant you will work closely with the campus director, Tiziana Fracchiolla, the permanent teaching staff and administrative employees and lots of wonderful students.

Please note that much of our dialogue takes place in English, as the dance programme has students and staff from all over the world.

The Danish National School of Performing Arts focuses on a good working environment. We expect you to want to contribute to the collegial community, and to have strong collaboration and communication skills and to be able to navigate an artistic learning environment where staff across disciplines work together to solve tasks.

About you

You are proactive, work independently and in a structured way and can handle a day with pace. At the same time you are a team player who can fit in as a good colleague within the group of teachers and administrative staff who solve tasks in close dialogue with each other. You thrive in a workday that is never the same, and where tasks sometimes change when you arrive.

You are reliable and move naturally between keeping track of equipment and facilities and helping students, permanent staff and external teachers with tech, facilities, teaching rooms etc. You would like to help with the execution of performances, where both lighting and sound are a big part of the way to assist with hanging, removal and design of this.
