Stjernestund Nursery is seeking an educator

Stjernestund Nursery is a private nursery with 28 children located in Aalborg SØ.

We are seeking 1 educator as of 01.01.27 or as soon as possible thereafter for a permanent 34-hour-per-week position.

We are therefore looking for a trained educator who

· Is professionally well-founded and can reflect on their own practice in interaction with colleagues.

· Is approachable, responsible and reliable.

· Can work independently and cross-disciplinary.

· Has strong communication skills, both oral and written.

· Has an appreciative approach to children, parents and colleagues.

· Has a good overview and can create predictable frames for the children in collaboration with colleagues.

· Is mindful of the importance of parent cooperation and parental involvement regarding the child’s well-being, development, learning and formation.

· Has a sense for child involvement and works actively with the child’s role in play, routine situations and pedagogically planned activities, and is focused on learning environments, both outdoors and indoors, tailored to the current group of children.

· Can work systematically with prevention, early intervention, language development and transitions.

· Can make ongoing adjustments to practice in relation to the individual child’s needs, abilities and participation opportunities in the community.

· Has experience working with children aged 0-2 years, can work independently, take initiative and lead with new initiatives/ideas.
