As deputy manager you are the store manager's right-hand and your primary task is to increase sales, create a good atmosphere for customers and ensure a consistently neat and inviting store.

You should thrive on unforeseen challenges and be passionate about going the extra mile when needed, i.e., be the one wearing the leading shirt so that it becomes fun to be both a customer and an employee in the store – we want it to be fun and profitable.

As a person it's important that you can work in a structured and independent way, as in this job you will work alone most of the time. We would very much like you to have some years of experience from retail or a similar position, but it is not a requirement.

Responsible for store operations

You, in close cooperation with the Merchant, are responsible for the store and daily operations, including:

• Achieve the daily and monthly sales figures and budgets • Ordering of goods • Receiving goods and restocking • Order and structure in the warehouse and office • Preparation of food • Compliance with the store's Internal Control Program • Cleaning routines in the store are systematized • Execution of campaigns according to the given deadlines • Daily follow-up and adherence to the depreciation budget • Actively participate in status reporting with focus on optimizing shrinkage results • Contribute to adherence to internal guidelines • Active participation is expected in and around the store's events • Various ad hoc tasks in a dynamic everyday life

Salary and employment terms

The position is based on a 2-week period: Monday-Friday from 7.00-16.00 and every second Saturday. We are open 24/7 year-round, and Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve rotate accordingly. Salary and terms of employment are regulated by the store agreement as well as special provisions after agreement with HK Handel.
