Store manager sought for The Chinese Grocer Lyngby

As Store Manager you understand the value of being a role model, acting professionally, humbly and in a calm manner. You exude positive energy and foster a behavior that promotes and elevates your team's mindset.

In the role you are the face of the business outward and play an important role across the organization. You will work closely with the owners of the company as well as with all departments, in a flat corporate structure.

You will lead a team of about 5-10 employees, including full-time, part-time and possibly student workers.

Work distribution will be approximately 90% on the shop floor, and 10% administrative.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Daily operations and sales
• Create and maintain a positive working environment for staff
• Ensure that the store policies and procedures are followed
• Ensure a high standard of customer service and customer satisfaction
• Planning and execution of operations and maintenance tasks
• Training, onboarding, motivation and development of staff
• Merchandise ordering
• Hiring staff and scheduling
• Contribute to planning and execution of sales-promoting activities

• You work in a structured way, are good at creating overview and juggling many balls in the air
• Passionate about Asian cooking and foods
• Understand how to prioritise tasks and delegate responsibilities
• Speaks and writes Danish and English
