Job Description As a structural engineer you will play a central role in Give Steel A/S. You will be part of a large, dedicated team of structural engineers in Aarhus and Poland, who together design the static department. You will spend your daily time at the company’s office in Aarhus and report to the Technical Director, who is also a trained structural engineer.

Your tasks will be

• Technical leadership on complex cases
• Delve into the statics and develop good, constructive solutions
• Be a professional sparring partner for colleagues who work with calculations
• Screen and assess new and selected cases
• Quality assurance of calculations
• Assist project managers with professional sparring at meetings with customers and partners
• Prepare client cases for calculation and be the technical link to structural engineers in Poland
• Contribute to the department's professional development and stay updated on new annexes, software and tools

You will follow your solutions all the way from calculation to production in Brande and assembly on site, and you will be involved in projects for some of the largest clients in Denmark and Northern Europe. You will perform static calculations, prepare static documentation, and you will continuously update yourself with courses in, for example, steel structures, Eurocode and documentation.

Your background You are a trained structural engineer and have a minimum of four years' experience with calculation and design of load-bearing structures on large and small projects from an engineering consultancy, steel supplier or similar. In addition, we value that you:

• Have solid knowledge of Eurocode, static calculations and documentation
• Have solid knowledge of relevant IT tools, including experience with FEM calculation programs
• Are willing to learn new norms, standards and calculation programs and new ways of doing things
• Are good at analyzing and understanding projects
• Have good communication skills in Danish and English, both oral and written
• Are professionally ambitious and responsible
• Work independently, are solution-oriented and have a good overview
