Student Assistant in Software Testing and QA

Do you have an eye for detail?

At Onlimited we develop software and digital solutions that need to work in practice. Therefore we are looking for a student assistant who can help us ensure the quality of our products and solutions.

You will become a part of our development team and will play an important role in testing new features, identifying bugs, and ensuring that our solutions live up to the expectations we set for quality, usability and stability.

You will test web applications, mobile apps and other software solutions developed for our customers and our own products.

The position is on-site from our office in Lystrup near Aarhus, as the testing work is carried out closely with the development team.

The role is particularly relevant for anyone considering a future in software development, software testing, product development or quality assurance.

Your tasks

Initially, your primary focus will be to help ensure the quality of our software solutions through testing of new features and changes.

You will among other things work with

• Testing new features and solutions before release
• Identifying and documenting bugs
• Following up on bugs and verifying bug fixes
• Ensuring that solutions work as expected across different scenarios

Over time there will be opportunities to take responsibility for, among other things, test cases, QA processes and other quality assurance activities.

Who are you?

We are looking for a student enrolled in a relevant higher education program within IT, software, technology, digitalisation or similar.

The most important is not the exact field of study, but that you have an interest in software, quality and systematic problem solving.

You are probably a person who

• Is thorough and detail-oriented
• Works in a structured and systematic way
• Has a sense for details and enjoys finding bugs and irregularities
• Is curious and analytical
• Can understand complex systems
• Is good at documenting and communicating your observations
• Thrives on finding the root cause of problems rather than merely stating them

You do not need to have prior experience with software testing. We place greater emphasis on curiosity, thoroughness and interest in software than on prior experience with software testing.

Practical information

• Workplace: Lystrup near Aarhus
• The position is on-site and performed from our office
• Extent: 10-15 hours per week
• Working hours fall within normal office hours, typically between 9:00 and 16:00 on weekdays
• We are flexible regarding your studies, but it is important that the working hours can be placed within this time frame
• Salary: Typically 170-190 DKK per hour depending on experience and qualifications
• Start: By arrangement
