Your role

Are you ready to take part in an exciting journey towards a more sustainable future?

As a student assistant in our state-of-the-art Quality Control (QC) laboratory at Topsoe in Frederikssund, you will have a practical role in supporting the green transition. You will become part of a dynamic team that works with advanced analytical methods and ensures that our products meet strict quality requirements.

Your main tasks will be to perform physical and chemical analyses for process and finished goods control, handle routine laboratory work and ad hoc tasks, and contribute to a healthy and safe working environment. You will gain valuable experience with production and laboratory work as well as handling chemicals.

The position is about 15 hours every other weekend, with the working hours distributed across day and evening shifts. There will also be opportunities to take extra shifts on weekdays.

What you contribute

We are looking for an engaged student with a positive attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile during busy periods. You are pursuing a science-based education, e.g., chemistry, engineering or similar, and have at least two years left of your studies. You have an interest in laboratory work and can communicate in Danish, which is important for our safety procedures.

Additionally, you are good at following procedures and have a stable attendance.

Why choose us

As a student assistant at Topsoe you join a team of skilled and dynamic colleagues in an informal organization. You get the opportunity to learn about production and laboratory tasks, work with chemical substances and directly contribute to the green transition by supporting the delivery of technology, catalysts and services to many sectors. We offer a collaborative and inclusive culture where your development and well-being are in focus.

Your new team

You will become part of a dedicated and collaborative team where mutual respect, openness and shared success are valued. We support each other’s development and work closely across the organization to create results and drive the green transition forward.

How to apply

If you want to become part of a team of skilled and professional colleagues in an informal organization, please send your CV in Danish. It is not necessary to attach a motivational letter. Instead, please include a couple of sentences in your CV explaining your motivation for applying for the position. We also ask you to refrain from including a photo in your CV. Both measures aim to ensure a fair and unbiased recruitment process.

If you have questions about the position, you are welcome to contact Solin Darvish Saleh at email [email protected]

Application deadline: October 27, 2026

We welcome all qualified applicants regardless of gender, age, religion, disability, ethnic background or geographic location. We encourage people from different cultures and countries to apply and become part of our global team.

To ensure a safe and reliable working environment, our recruitment process may include background checks, requests for criminal records and contact to references.

To headhunters and recruitment agencies: Thank you for your interest in our company. We do however have a dedicated internal team that handles our recruitment process. We therefore kindly ask you not to contact us regarding potential candidates. Thank you for your understanding .
