UCN Hjørring and Hjørring Municipality collaborate to offer relevant study jobs to

all interested nursing students in all semesters, during the entire education.

In a study job you get the opportunity to acquire relevant clinical practice experience, with

basic health and nursing tasks, which you can continue to develop

theoretically and practically, in your studies. With a study job in Hjørring Municipality, you are

guaranteed an extra income during your entire education.

Prerequisite for guarantee of study job?

Hjørring Municipality guarantees you as a nursing student at UCN Hjørring a relevant

study job, already from the 1st semester.

It is not necessary that you have experience from the health and nursing field when you

apply for a study job. When you start in a study job, the department head ensures that you receive an

individual introduction and training. In the introduction period the department head conducts a

start-up interview with you, where among other things your experience and competencies are assessed in relation to

working at an elderly center.

If you are interested in a study job, Hjørring Municipality expects that you as a

nursing student are accommodating, cooperative and reliable.

Hjørring municipality offers study jobs at an elderly center (geographically distributed throughout the

What is offered?

There is the possibility of an agreement for a study job, in day, evening and night shifts mainly on

weekends, holidays and in holiday periods, taking into account your education course.

The number of hours is agreed individually, based on what fits best with you and your study.

In a study job you continuously have the opportunity to acquire and develop professional competencies.

During semesters 1-3 you work, for example, with basic health- and

nursing tasks such as personal care, medication delivery etc. After semester 4

you work with competencies corresponding to the social and health assistant's

holistic care and clinical nursing tasks, though without safeguarding the authorization responsibility.

Salary and employment terms are set in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.
