Expected start 1 Dec.

  • Administration Center Nat-Tech - Nat-Tech Guidance and Study Information, ST Ny Munkegade 120 8000 Aarhus C
  • Part-time position 4 hours per week ID: 169338

Apply for the position

Would you like to gain dissemination/communication experience and at the same time help other students understand opportunities, rules and important choices during their studies?

Then this is the opportunity.

We are looking from 1 December 2026 (or as soon as possible thereafter) for a new student study advisor from the diploma engineering programs at the Institute of Electrical and Computer Technology.

You will join a team of 7 student study advisers (of which 5 are student study advisers from the Bachelor of Engineering programs and 2 student study advisers from the diploma engineering programs). In the team you will advise students across programs, but your focus is the diploma engineering programs in Electronics, Electrical Energy Technology, Software Technology and Health Technology.

You will be part of the Guidance and Study Information Department, which consists of 19 student study advisers and 14 academic staff. The department is part of the Administration Center Nat-Tech.

The job

You will need to advise prospective, current and former students, including

  • advise students in guidance conversations, via email or in the live chat
  • plan and host collective information and guidance events
  • participate in various events such as U-days, study practices and workshops
  • contribute to study information about your education

We expect that you

  • are a student in the diploma engineering program in either Electronics, Electrical Energy Technology, Software Technology or Health Technology
  • are keen to gain deeper knowledge of the programs at the Institute of Electrical and Computer Technology as well as study administration rules and procedures
  • are keen to build knowledge about and advise in the other programs in Technical Sciences
  • are empathetic and good at listening
  • are responsible and good at collaborating
  • are good at communicating in writing and orally. Both in personal conversations, presentations in large assemblies and in online events – which are sometimes recorded

We can offer

  • an exciting, challenging and rewarding student job that will give you an in-depth understanding of your study, as well as practical experience with personal conversations and communication
  • on-the-job training at start and ongoing advice and sparring with the other student advisers, with the study administration and with the study responsible
  • 5 days of basic training in guidance along with various theme days that continuously keep you up to date
  • a job in a well-functioning team of student study advisers where both professional sparring and social interaction are highly valued

Working hours

The average weekly working time is 4 hours, but it is important to note that there may be peak periods. This can be especially in connection with events, U-days and orientation meetings, where it is expected that student study advisers contribute extra hours. We value flexibility and commitment in these situations to ensure a successful execution of events and meetings.

Mutual agreement can be reached regarding the number of hours in the internship semester so that both internship and tasks can be accommodated.

You will have office hours in the online studies service live chat and in booked conversations with students amounting to about 2-3½ hours per week and there will also be various presentations etc.

Your workplace will be Ny Munkegade 120, 8000 Aarhus C

Application

The application deadline is 23 October 2026. The application should include a CV, a short personal letter, a transcript (so we can see how far you are in your studies), student card number and phone number. The application must be sent electronically via the posting at: http://www.au.dk/om/stillinger/teknisk-administrative-stillinger/

Further information can be obtained from study and wellbeing advisor Rikke Signe Tougaard at e-mail or mobile 9352 2842.
