Student for Leasing, Debt Collection & Financial Services

HortenDahl's department of Leasing, Debt Collection & Financial Services in Hellerup is seeking an engaged student who can commence as soon as possible.

A varied everyday life where you get responsibility and influence

You will become part of a dedicated team that mainly works with movables financing, including collection for – and advice to – both Danish and international financing companies and lenders, municipalities and utility companies.

You will have the opportunity to work independently with a range of tasks, through which you gain broad insights into the practical handling of the department's cases from start to finish – particularly within the area of credit agreement law.

You will, among other things, handle the following tasks

• Preparation for and participation in physical and telephone enforcement hearings, including particularly in cases of repossession of movable property financed through leasing and credit agreements
• Reviewing and opening new cases
• Drafting of demand letters, payment demands, writs and enforcement requisitions, etc.
• Post-processing of enforcement hearings
• Customer and debtor contact
• Inspection and showing of properties in connection with foreclosure/forced auction proceedings
• Assist the department's lawyers with various legal investigations and general information gathering
• Preparation of notes on legal issues
• Preparation of drafts of pleadings, extracts and material compilations

In addition, you will help solve the tasks that arise on an ongoing basis, of both legal and practical nature for the whole department.

We expect you to be ambitious and curious, and that you are at least in the second year of your bachelor’s degree in law.

You must be motivated and have the ability to combine your theoretical legal knowledge with practical problems and tasks. Since you will participate in physical and telephone enforcement hearings, you must be responsible and independent, and handle unforeseen situations with a smile. We also expect you to contribute positively to the collaboration within the department and generally be in a good mood, even when things get busy.
