About the job

Are you passionate about creating value through data? Do you want to work on some of the largest and most strategically important procurement and tendering projects in the Danish state? Then you have the opportunity to work at the Agency for Financial Management in the Skt. Annæ Palace, close to Kongens Nytorv, Kongens Have and Marmorkirken – right in the heart of the city with good public transport options.

In State Procurement & Law, which is part of the Agency for Financial Management, we are currently seeking a engaged and service-minded student with strong analytical skills and an interest in data, who can contribute to upcoming tenders and contract management of agreements in the State Procurement Program and at the same time wants to solve tasks that support the management and the office's daily operations.

Enjoy a varied portfolio of tasks The State Procurement Program includes a number of government-wide framework agreements that are used by colleagues in the state and anchored in the office State Procurement & Law, where we contract-manage and continually re-tender the agreements. You will join a professional community of dedicated colleagues who together form a strong team that prioritizes sparring and professional development.

Your tasks may include

  • Development of Excel templates that can optimise analysis and reporting processes
  • Communication of data for decision-making processes, including conducting satisfaction surveys
  • Contribution to contract management of agreements, including written and telephone guidance to colleagues in the state and review and control of sales reporting
  • Participation in tender projects, for example tasks such as preparing decision briefs and minute-taking
  • Contributing to solving the office's administrative daily operations, so the office has the best prerequisites to succeed with its core tasks, for example developing an intro program and planning onboarding of new colleagues

What we offer you You will become part of a strong professional environment and will work with colleagues who value a high professional standard as well as a strong social cohesion.

We prioritise that you have exciting tasks as well as professional and personal development, and as a student at the Agency for Financial Management you will fully participate in task handling with your own areas of responsibility, so your time with us provides a solid springboard for life after your studies.

When you join us, your buddy will welcome you and introduce you to your onboarding, just as you, together with your immediate supervisor, lay out a plan for your task portfolio and professional development. The plan ensures that you work on tasks that interest you, and that over time you develop your competences.

Who you are We are looking for a capable colleague with a desire to contribute to smooth operations. You may have several entry routes to this job.

We expect that you

  • are currently pursuing a relevant social sciences education, such as cand.scient.pol., cand. scient. adm., cand.polit., cand.it., cand.merc. or similar.
  • have experience handling large datasets in Excel
  • are service-minded and have good communication skills in writing as well as in speaking
  • are a pronounced team player, engaged and take independent responsibility
  • are social and value good collegiality

A workday with room for both work and family life Our office – consisting of just under 30 employees with backgrounds from both the public and private sectors – is characterised by a strong team spirit, and we place great emphasis on high job satisfaction and having fun in everyday life.

Our communication is open, straightforward and with a smile. We place a lot of emphasis on celebrating each other’s successes, just as we prioritise social events and an improvised Friday bar. Work can sometimes take place at a fast pace with a high degree of independence, initiative and a strong desire to deliver high-quality services and results. The everyday life is characterised by a positive approach to colleagues and new challenges, and with a focus on continuously developing yourself and thriving in a healthy work environment.
