About the job

Show us what you can do. Not what you can write.

Can you create video content that makes people stop, click and act?

The Communications and Marketing Department at UCL is seeking a student assistant who will produce content for our paid marketing and social media profiles.

We are looking for a creator who can both come up with the idea, be in front of the camera, and produce the finished content.

Your tasks

You will among other things

  • Develop and produce video content for advertisements on Instagram, Facebook and Snapchat
  • Appear in videos as host, interviewer or presenter
  • Shoot, edit and tailor content for different audiences
  • Cover student life, programs and events
  • Test new angles and formats for our marketing

We imagine that you

  • Are a student enrolled in a higher education program
  • Have experience creating content for social media
  • Are comfortable both in front of and behind the camera
  • Can shoot and edit video independently
  • Have an eye for what makes people stop, become curious and take action

Experience with CapCut, Premiere Pro, Canva or similar is an advantage.

How to apply

You do not need to spend all your time on the classic application.

Instead, send us something that shows what you can do.

It could be

  • A short video
  • A portfolio
  • Links to examples of content you have produced
  • A creative presentation

It does not have to be perfect or polished. We would like to see your idea and your style.

Show us

  • Who you are?
  • What you have created?
  • How you create content for social media?
  • Why you are the right person for the job?

We judge you more on your ability to create content than on your ability to write applications.

How you become employed

You will be one of many student assistants in an ambitious department with a fast pace and high spirits.

You will be employed on average 7 hours per week. The number of hours will vary.

You will be employed in November 2026 or as agreed and will be compensated as a student assistant in accordance with the Joint Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees Organizations – The Civil Service Area (OAO joint agreement) and the Organizational Agreement for Office Clerks, Laboratory Technicians and IT Employees (HK). The employment is conditional on you being an active student.

The work location will primarily be Seebladsgade 1, 5000 Odense C

Would you like to know more about the position?

If you would like to know more about the position, you are welcome to contact Sune Oxenvad at telephone: 50 94 35 61 or email: [email protected] .
