About the job

In the subsoil lies one of Denmark's most important resources – groundwater. It is from here we get all our drinking water. To protect it, we must know where it is located, how it moves – and how vulnerable it is. As part of the targeted protection of the Danish drinking water resource we perform groundwater mapping.

You can read more about groundwater mapping on the Environmental Protection Agency's website www.mst.dk/gko

The work with groundwater mapping is team-organized and carried out in close cooperation with colleagues and advisory consulting firms. We are about 30 employees in Groundwater Mapping with diverse backgrounds, ages, experience and competencies, who work on tasks ranging technically from geology, geophysics, hydrology, geochemistry, databases, GIS, programming and project management.
