The position is part-time; the working hours may vary, but on average will be around 8 hours/week, preferably distributed over two fixed days planned around your studies.
The appointment is conditional on you being a student and ends when you graduate or are no longer enrolled in a program.
About MOMA and the Institute of Clinical Medicine
MOMA is part of the Institute of Clinical Medicine, one of the largest institutes at Aarhus University. The institute’s research spans all medical specialties and takes place in close collaboration with Aarhus University Hospital and the regional hospitals in the Central Denmark Region. As a student assistant at MOMA you will become part of a vibrant research environment with many different disciplines, while also being closely attached to our administrative staff and daily operations at MOMA.
You will be part of our administrative staff of seven colleagues, where you will among other things have another student assistant as a colleague. We have an informal tone, good camaraderie and a workday where we help each other and work as a team. You will have the opportunity to learn new things and take responsibility, and we will of course ensure you receive a good introduction to your tasks. For us, it is important that MOMA is a place where you can thrive academically and get along with your colleagues.
As a student assistant at the Institute of Clinical Medicine you will become part of what is probably the largest health sciences research institute in Denmark. The clinical research covers all medical specialties and takes place in collaboration with the university hospital and the regional hospitals in the Central Denmark Region. We have about 30,000 sqm of modern research facilities for experimental surgery and medicine, animal facilities, and advanced scanners.
The institute has overall responsibility for the master's programs in medicine and in molecular medicine. At the institute there are about 670 scientific staff, 500 PhD students and 160 technical/administrative staff who collaborate across disciplines. As a student assistant you will work at Aarhus University Hospital. You can read more about the institute here and about the faculty here.
Your tasks
As a student assistant you will have a varied daily routine and help with both administrative, practical and communicative tasks. You will collaborate with several different colleagues in the staff and gain insight into many different parts of the administrative operations at MOMA.
Some tasks will be fixed and recurring, while others arise along the way. Therefore it is important that you are willing to take initiative, are flexible, and help out when extra hands are needed.

You report to the administrative leader at MOMA, Signe Budde Opstrup.
