Are you a student – perhaps studying law – and would you like to work systematically with legislation while gaining a very special insight into the operation of an airport? Then it might be you we are looking for.

The job

We are looking for a student assistant for our Compliance & Safety department, where your primary task will be to support the work with Aalborg Airport's Airfield Manual (FPH), which our Compliance & Safety department is responsible for developing and maintaining.

The manual consists of a number of documents, which among other things describe procedures, responsibilities and workflows at the airport. The documents must be kept up to date and be in accordance with the legislation and the requirements applicable in the area.

There is a need for a comprehensive review and update of the manual, and you will therefore work closely with our Safety Manager and Compliance Manager. You will be involved in reviewing and updating the documents in their entirety and at the same time contribute to creating a good structure for ongoing maintenance going forward.

A large part of the work will consist of immersing yourself in legislation and existing documentation and working in a structured way with content and changes. To gain insight into and understanding of our workflows you will be introduced to different departments in the organization and you will be in dialogue with both colleagues and managers across disciplines, so you gain a solid understanding of how the airport's operations work.

The position is approximately 8 hours per week with expected start on December 1, 2026 and is initially limited to December 31, 2027. There may be opportunities for extension.

Your profile

You are a student in a relevant higher education program – preferably law – and you want to familiarize yourself thoroughly with legislation and translate it into practice.

You thrive in administrative tasks that require concentration, structure and attention to detail. You work systematically, have a good overview and take pride in ensuring that documentation and details are in place.

At the same time you are curious and proactive. You should be willing to move around the building, ask questions and talk to different professional groups to understand how things work in practice.

You do not need to have prior knowledge of aviation. If you have an interest in aircraft and airport operations, that's naturally an advantage – but most important is your willingness and ability to learn the legislation and a new field.

Employment requires that you have a clean criminal record and can be security cleared by PET.
