Job profile

As a vocational teacher in the data and communications education at EUC Syd, Sønderborg, your tasks will primarily consist of planning, conducting and evaluating the teaching in the data and communications program. You will teach many different target groups from pupils from primary/elementary school to apprentices and continuing education cohorts.

Person profile

We are looking as soon as possible for an instructor to train the future most skilled specialists in data and IT.

You have strong IT skills and a desire to teach. You have solid competencies within some of the program’s subject areas, and you want a day that consists of a mix of professional and pedagogical approaches to teaching.

You have heart in what you do. This means that you are passionate about sharing and expanding your professional knowledge.

We imagine that you have

• A professional background as IT support, data technician, data programmer, software engineer or equivalent education.
• Knowledge of networks, cyber security and automation
• Preferably a minimum of 5 years relevant professional experience.
• A passion and curiosity about the subject’s development as well as an interest in how young people today see and experience the world.
• A desire to engage in professional and social relationships with the students, and to be motivated by working across disciplines and in teams.

Employment and remuneration

Employment and remuneration are based on qualifications and in accordance with the Ministry of Education’s Executive Order no. 101 of 1 February 2007 on terms of employment for civil-service-like staff at institutions for vocational education and meal departments.

There is a two-year probationary period as well as an attractive pension scheme attached to the position.

Applicants without pedagogical education must complete a pedagogical diploma education no later than 4 years after employment.
