Auto body painter – would you like to teach others?

Become a vocational teacher in the auto body painting education at College360 in Silkeborg.

PRO&CO is seeking on behalf of College360 a skilled auto body painter who wants to use their expertise in a new way and help train the next generation of auto body painters.

You do not need to have teaching experience. The most important is that you are professionally strong, enjoy working with young people and are motivated by sharing your knowledge and experience.

At College360 you will be well supported in the role of vocational teacher. You will be part of a strong and engaged teaching team, where you will receive support and coaching from experienced colleagues. As part of your employment you will also be trained in teaching and pedagogy.

About the job

You will primarily teach on the basic and main courses of the auto body painter education. The teaching is practical and based on the tasks, techniques and standards that students encounter in the industry.

Your tasks will include

• plan and deliver hands-on, practice-oriented teaching
• teach students the techniques, work methods and standards used in the industry
• monitor students' academic and personal development as tutor
• collaborate with colleagues, companies and other partners
• contribute to the development of the education and teaching materials

Who are you?

We are looking primarily for a professionally skilled auto body painter who wants to teach others and make a difference for young people.

We imagine that you

• are a trained auto body painter
• as a starting point have a few years of relevant and current professional experience
• have kept your professional knowledge up to date through practical work and preferably relevant continuing education
• can use common IT and industry digital tools
• can create structure and clear frameworks for the students
• communicate professionally with students, colleagues and companies
• meet young people with interest, patience and respect
• want to develop yourself both professionally and as a teacher

Teaching experience is an advantage, but not a requirement. College360 ensures that you are well prepared for the task.

Employment terms

The position is full-time with start as soon as possible or by agreement.

Salary and employment terms follow the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the Danish Union of Education. Depending on your experience and qualifications, the salary level is 31,000–36,500 DKK per month plus 18 percent pension.
