About the job

Are you interested and experienced in the substance use field?

The Center for Alcohol and Drug Treatment (CAS) is an interdisciplinary treatment center with its own statutory authority. We offer a wide range of treatment options within both Health Act § 141 and 142 as well as the Social Services Act § 101.

We see ourselves as a service in development and it is important that you thrive in development and changes. We are facing a relocation expected in the first half of 2027, and we are also continuously working to adjust and optimize our treatment pathways and our organization.

Organizationally, we are in a process of establishing new interdisciplinary teams. So far our treatment efforts have been organized in a health care team and two social care teams. In connection with the planned relocation, we will create two interdisciplinary teams across health and social care professionals with social workers attached to each team.

This is a major organizational change, of which you will be a part, just as you will play an active role in creating even better holistic and interdisciplinary treatment paths and interventions for our citizens. Until we have established the interdisciplinary teams, you will be part of our substance use team.

Interdisciplinarity and collaboration between health care interventions and social care interventions in CAS regarding the individual citizen and our treatment offerings are generally something we would like to become even better at. Therefore, it is important to us that you see collaboration and the use of others’ professional backgrounds as a natural part of your work.

We are looking for you who

  • Have a relevant social or health care basic education. We prioritize applicants with relevant therapeutic continuing education
  • Have experience with substance use treatment
  • Can independently plan systematic and targeted treatment pathways both individually and in group treatment.
  • Are flexible and can adapt to tasks and content
  • Can see the value in working interdisciplinarily with colleagues internally and externally
  • Are used to systematic documentation and see it as an integrated and important part of the treatment task.

We offer

  • An innovative workplace in motion, where we are still in the process of further developing our offerings.
  • We are ambitious and visionary and work purposefully to offer the most citizens the best possible holistic treatment.
  • You will have the opportunity to help shape both the team, the treatment activities and our offerings, just as you will independently have the opportunity, together with the team, to plan your workweek.
  • Fixed monthly (and mandatory) external supervision in teams.
  • Influence on the development of the workplace and an expectation that you will actively contribute to maintaining a good and strong work environment and well-being in CAS.

Practical We offer flexitime, but you should expect at least one long workday on Monday or Thursday – until 19:00 – weekly, as some of our treatment activities take place late afternoon/evening.

The position is 37 hours/week with start date 1.12.26

Salary and employment terms are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. Please note that a child and criminal record check will be obtained in connection with employment, just as we also obtain references before offering employment.

You can find further information about CAS and our treatment offerings on our website http://www.cas.roskilde.dk

If you do not find answers to your questions there, you are welcome to contact our social care coordinator, Lars, tel. 4031 3771 or our health care coordinator, Iben, tel. 2174 6764.

The deadline for applications is Friday 23 October 2026, at 8:00. We expect to conduct interviews on Monday 26 or Tuesday 27 October.

We look forward to hearing from you!
