About the job
You can make a real difference in the holistic care at Skælskør Centre
If you are on a gap year, a student – or just want to earn extra money and give our citizens a secure everyday life? Then now is the time to apply!
We are seeking dedicated relief workers/hourly paid for day and evening shifts as well as weekends.
In the Holistic Care at Skælskør Centre we work in fixed teams. For us, that means we look at the citizen's entire life situation, and our most important task is to support citizens in maintaining their self-care. It is through you as a relief worker that citizens gain a secure and dignified voice in everyday life.
Your daily tasks
- Care and personal care : You help citizens with personal hygiene, dressing and toilet visits in their own home
- Practical help : You assist with lighter practical tasks, including meal portioning and support at meals
- Presence and quality of life : You contribute with your good mood, have a pleasant chat and ensure that the citizen feels seen and heard
Who are you?
- You have a heart in the right place : You meet the citizens with warmth, integrity and respect for the fact that you are a guest in their home
- You are stable and responsible : The citizens and your colleagues in the team expect you to show up on time
- You speak and understand Danish : Good communication is crucial for the citizens' safety
- Driver's license (Category B) : This is a big advantage for the outreach routes (please indicate in your application if you have a driver's license)
- Education or experience in care is a plus, but absolutely no requirement. The most important is your commitment and your courage for the task
What do we offer you?
- Thorough training : You will not be thrown into it alone. You will get an introduction and drive with an experienced colleague at the start
- A strong community : You become part of a team where we help each other and value a good working environment
- Experience for your CV : Especially relevant if you are studying to become a nurse, pedagogue, SOSU or therapist
- Salary according to the collective agreement : You are paid according to the applicable collective agreement (FOA) including allowances for evening, night and weekend work
Do you want to join the team?
We hold interviews on an ongoing basis, so please send your application as soon as possible.
