About the boy

The boy lives in Brøndby with his mother, father and his 10-month-old little brother. He has infantil autism, is not cognitively age-appropriate, and has a limited verbal language. He uses a few words, short sentences, and is good at expressing what he needs. He understands everything that is said to him, so clear and calm communication is important.

In addition, he has a blood condition, which means you must be particularly careful with falls or knocks, as he can easily develop blood clots. It is therefore important that you are responsible and attentive – but not frightening.

There is no personal care in the task.

He is a very happy and affectionate boy with a great interest in animals – especially elephants, horses and dinosaurs. He thrives best with predictability, structure, and a clear adult.

About the task

Your task will be to be present and create safe surroundings.

Take short outdoor outings – e.g., walks, playground or perhaps a trip to the zoo.

Engage in cozy and calm activities indoors (preferably creative or play – not screen-based).

Follow his pace and read his needs.

If the weather allows, prioritise outdoor activities.

• Have experience with children – preferably children with autism or special needs
• Are calm, patient, and clear in your communication
• Can work independently and take responsibility
• Are physically active and happy to be outdoors
• Are stable and meet the child with recognition and respect

Working hours

The position is 20 hours per month.

Hours are scheduled on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays by agreement with the family. The start time on Fridays will typically be around 16:00 and onward; Saturdays and Sundays are arranged with the family.

Initially, shifts will be around 3 hours, until a relationship is built, after which hours can be increased.
