We have a healthy and good working environment with high psychological safety, where we help each other, share experiences and focus on learning, feedback and collegial sparring.

We have varied tasks and good opportunities for professional development. The health visitors are among other things group leaders in various group offers and are involved in developing services for pregnant, postpartum, children, youth and families in different life situations.

As a new colleague you will receive a good introduction and a mentor who will accompany you in the start. You will become part of a strong professional community with close collaboration both in health visiting and with our interdisciplinary partners.

We are looking for

As part of our professional community, we are looking for a health visitor who shares the same belief in children and youth as us, and who has courage, desire and ability to proactively contribute to both the health professional development across Family and Health Promotion as well as in the day-care and school area.

Professionalism and collaboration

We are 22 professionally ambitious and engaged health visitors, working in three teams based on districts. We meet regularly in our teams – where especially sparring and feedback are prioritized.

In addition to working with toddlers and schoolchildren, the health visitors also participate in cross-functional teams and preventive groups. Here we collaborate across professional disciplines to strengthen efforts around children and youth in distress.

In Fredericia we believe , “that all children and young people can do more than they think.”

Your profile

You are a trained health visitor and can work independently in the self-planned role where your coordinating skills come into play and are decisive for your well-being at work. As team players you are open to development and contribute to lifting together. You are appreciative, curious and constructive in your approach to task solving and in meeting colleagues, children and parents. At the same time you take shared responsibility for the work environment by expressing your opinion in a professional and constructive way.
