Lunten is a special educational teaching tilbud with SFO for children from 0th–9th grade with diagnoses within the autism spectrum. At Lunten we create safe frameworks for our 95 students, contribute to their academic development and support them in their personal and social development. Our professional community, which includes 20 teachers and 14 pedagogues, is the foundation of Lunten's everyday life.

We are seeking a teacher to teach in the subjects Danish or Mathematics ; German and must be able to cover one or more of the natural science subjects at the intermediate/middle school level . You will become part of a class team with both teachers and pedagogues, where each lesson is covered by at least 2 adults. One is responsible for the subject-specific teaching, and the other supports the students’ academic outcomes and social well-being in the teaching. The teachers' teaching time is weighted with ⅔ subject-teaching hours and ⅓ support/two-teacher hours.

The school day starts at 7.50, where students and teachers “land” in the classrooms and at 8.00 the day is overviewed during morning gathering with the help of, among other things, pictograms. The subject-specific level is basically age-appropriate, and in addition differentiated tasks and activities are planned based on the students' academic competences in the various subjects.

The individual class teams work closely together both around the academic content, but also around the students' social and individual competences and potential and in the school/home collaboration. The team participates in network meetings, review meetings and other meetings/activities that are relevant to the students' well-being, future and development.

You bring with you

• You are a trained teacher with major in Danish or Mathematics, German and have other major subjects or similar competences within the natural sciences.
• You have experience teaching children/youth with diagnoses within the autism spectrum or are curious about the special education field and willing to learn.
• You are adaptable in everyday life and can switch between different didactic and pedagogical methods in teaching.
• You want to be part of a community that places a high value on professionalism and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
• You thrive in an appreciative collaboration and a professional dialogue.
