Supply Operator Apprentices for Fyn's Largest Energy Company

Are you the kind of person whose hands are turned right for the job? Do you have a knack for technology and IT? And do you enjoy outdoor work? Then we are looking for engaged and curious apprentices for the distribution operator education.

As a distribution operator apprentice at Our Elnet you will be part of Construction and Service with about 70 engaged and professionally strong colleagues, of which 6 are apprentices. We work with both larger projects and smaller operational tasks. We are responsible for establishing and maintaining 60 kV, 10 kV and 0.4 kV distribution networks on Funen.

An exciting education in electrical distribution

During your 2-year apprenticeship, you will be part of the daily execution of new electricity supply installations and operation of distribution networks, including repair and maintenance. You will encounter many different tasks, including building and maintaining the electricity grid, repairing cables and transformer stations, and establishing and repairing street lighting systems. Throughout the training you will have a mentor/training supervisor with whom you regularly discuss to ensure your professional and personal development.

The training as a distribution operator starts with Our Elnet, where you gain insight into both the industry and the work area, after which you will attend a 20-week base course at Skive College. During the base course you will be accommodated at the school in Skive. In the program you will learn how electricity is produced in different ways and how it reaches consumers.

Employment is expected in December 2026 or January 2027.

Apprentices who take responsibility for their education

We imagine that you already have several years of professional experience within one of the crafts or from industry. We also welcome you if you are at the start of your career and have the desire and courage to take the next step into a skilled trade education.

We expect that you have the motivation and willingness to make a serious effort, just as you take shared responsibility for obtaining a good education. You have also passed the 9th-grade level in Danish and mathematics, hold a category B driving license, are practically inclined and have an interest in applying technology and IT in your daily life.
