Sydjydsk is seeking a smith/precision metalworker for our factory in Kolding near the highway.

We are a family-owned company of 4 generations, and we are busy. Therefore we are looking for a smith.

Your primary tasks will be

·              Smed operations.

·              Cut, weld, bend iron and steel.

·              Various different ad hoc tasks in the workshop, e.g., drilling and sawing.

Your qualifications – we expect that you

·              You are a smith and have experience welding (TIG and/or MAG).

·              Have several years of experience, and are passionate about performing smithing tasks.

·              Are in good physical shape. The work is physical – we stand up all day.

·              Are stable and punctual.

·              Are quality-conscious and at the same time efficient.

·              Are structured and can keep an overview in a busy day.

·              Can work both independently and with others – also with those who may not have the same background or experience as you.

·              Are open and honest, and respect that others are as well.

·              Familiarity with welding in railings with thin tubes (1-2 mm) is an advantage, but not a requirement.
