About the job

At Bølgebryderne, we believe that all people have value and deserve to be met with respect, hope and dignity.

Bølgebryderne consists of three departments and is located in the Mariagerfjord municipality. The three departments are Bølgegården, Bølgebo and Ungehuset. The open position as medication manager is in Ungehuset in Arden.

Ungehuset is a sought-after drug-free care home/residential facility for people who have lived with substance abuse, homelessness and often have complex social and psychological challenges. Our task is to create frameworks where people can regain hope, experience community and develop towards a more independent life.

Therefore we are seeking a medication manager who is both clinically sharp in his/her field and passionate about working with vulnerable people.

At Blå Kors Bølgebryderne we are in continuous professional development. We continually seek to strengthen the quality of our medical, social-work and pedagogical efforts.

We are therefore looking for a medication manager who

  • Can see themselves participating in daily pedagogical practice and are passionate about contributing to the development of pedagogical practice.
  • Recognizes the importance of contributing to a safe and caring working environment.
  • Has experience with or knowledge of Housing First.
  • Works rehabilitatively and with respect for citizens' self- and co-determination.
  • Can contribute to a positive collegial cohesion and actively participate in staff meetings and supervision.
  • Can be part of a duty roster with day, weekend and night shifts as on-call night duty from a duty room. You must therefore be comfortable being alone in the house at night.

Your main tasks

As the medication manager you will be part of daily life in Ungehuset, but also across Blå Kors Bølgebryderne. You will be responsible, among other things, for:

  • Ensure that the medication instructions are up-to-date and followed.
  • Join a health-professional on-call/back-up duty with the other medication managers across Bølgebryderne.
  • Dose medication and be in contact with the health services and psychiatry.
  • Create coherence between operation, development, implementation and the organization's values.
  • Join the staff team and be the contact person for residents, including 1-1 conversations, drafting of stay plans and participation in meetings.

Who are you?

  • You have the ability to coordinate between citizens, health services and authorities.
  • You can handle unforeseen situations and/or seek sparring when in doubt.
  • You are mindful that a good psychosocial work environment is an important prerequisite for both well-being, professionalism and quality. You have an eye for the residents' different needs and for the strains that can arise in working with people in vulnerable life situations.
  • You are curious, development-oriented and believe that the best quality is created through shared reflection and collaboration.
