We would like to welcome you as soon as possible, but we are also happy to wait for you. We would like to offer you 37 hours per week, but if you want fewer hours, we will work that out too. We work as much as possible only every 3rd weekend and in rotating shifts, so you must be willing to do that.

Our ward is an integrated inpatient ward. Some of the beds are reserved for patients with affective disorders.

The core task is, in collaboration with the rest of the staff in the house, to provide respectful and relationship-based care and treatment to patients in need of admission.

In the treatment offer we work recovery-oriented, among others by

• Involving the patient in care and treatment
• Striving to work according to environmental-therapeutic principles
• Exercise as part of the activity offer/treatment
• Psychoeducation, both for admitted patients and their relatives
• Integrate safeward in the ward
• Reduction of coercion

You will become part of Psychiatry West under Midt- and Vestsjællands Hospital

An organization in development with ca. 520 employees. In the West there are main functions for adults over 17 years within acute reception, 24/7 and outpatient functions. Psychiatry West also has special functions within treatment of affective states, traumatized refugees, PTSD and oligophrenia. We have a Fusion Clinic/Steno diabetes-psychiatry unit and work especially closely with Holbæk and Slagelse hospitals.

Psychiatry West has its own research unit with a professor in clinical pharmacology and several PhD students. In addition, we participate in several projects aimed at ensuring closer cooperation with our municipalities and police. We work purposefully to reduce the use of coercion and here the collaboration with somatic care is also important. Our wish is for a psychiatry focused on recovery, involvement of patients and networks, high professionalism, ethics and education.

In addition, there is the goal of creating the best possible learning environments for our various training programs for physicians, nurses, social- and health assistants, etc., and ensuring a healthy and safe working environment for patients and staff.

Salaries and terms of employment

The position falls under the agreement: The Health Cartel, if you want to see the starting salary. In connection with employment in Psychiatry a reference check is obtained.

Place of employment

Region Zealand and the Capital Region will, on January 1, 2027, become Region Østdanmark as a result of the health reform. Your place of employment will be Region Østdanmark with all associated organizational units.

Starting salary for employees under the agreement

The region is obliged to inform you of the starting salary for the position. You will be informed of base pay, centrally fixed allowances and pension in the relevant collective agreement. In addition to the starting salary, the pay may include any negotiated allowances depending on the position, your experience and qualifications.
