About the position

We are seeking a nurse for Virum Home Care with employment from 01.12.2026.

Your weekly working time is 20 hours per week, and the position is mainly day shifts. There is weekend/evening shift every 4th weekend.

In Lyngby-Taarbæk we work in units, and as a nurse you will become part of the multidisciplinary collaboration around citizens. You will work closely with colleagues across professions and with other partners.

As a nurse you will be an important part of our shared professional responsibility for the citizens. You work independently and make professional decisions, but you are never alone. We believe that the best solutions are created through dialogue, sparring and collaboration across professions.

We work with holistic care based on the new Elder Law. This means, among other things, that we focus on the citizen's self-determination, continuity, flexibility and coherence – and on seeing the whole person rather than just the single task.

As a nurse you therefore have a central role in creating coherence between the citizen, social- and health care workers, your nursing colleagues and other partners.

Your role as a nurse

As a nurse you are both a professional sparring partner and an important part of the multidisciplinary team. You have an eye for the individual citizen's needs, but also for the whole in the team. You contribute to prioritizing, coordinating and creating overview when the situation changes.

You will work in a daily life where many professional challenges are part of everyday life, and where your ability to create structure, prioritize and collaborate is important.

A job with professionalism, collaboration and meaning with focus on a cohesive citizen pathway. Coordination, education and supervision are a meaningful part of the nurse's role.

You will work closely with social- and health care workers with a focus on changes in the citizen's health status. We see it as a joint task to respond to changes, share observations and use each other’s professional skills for the benefit of the citizen.

We work based on the Elder Law with holistic care and use the Cura care system.

Who are you?

• You are a nurse with an interest in working with elderly citizens. Experience from home care is an advantage, but not a requirement.
• You have solid professional competencies and are responsible, systematic and stable.
• You are comfortable with having professional responsibility in your work and in a busy daily life.
• You create structure and act in acute situations and can reprioritize tasks.
• You have a flair for planning and documentation.
• You have a driving license.
• You can plan and perform nursing in collaboration with other professional groups.
