Nurse to the Danish Headache Center, Department of Brain and Nerve Diseases, Rigshospitalet - Glostrup

One of our experienced nurses is retiring, therefore we are seeking a new nurse for a permanent position of 37 hours.

Danish Headache Center (DHC)

DHC is a multidisciplinary outpatient unit with a highly specialized function under the Department of Brain and Nerve Diseases, Rigshospitalet – Glostrup. We offer multidisciplinary treatment of rare or difficult-to-treat headache disorders as well as neuralgias and CRPS. In addition to a large clinical operation, we have extensive and internationally recognized research activity.

Nurse at DHC

As a nurse at DHC you will, as one of four nurses, be part of our multidisciplinary treatment team and the tasks include, among others:

• Independently treating outpatient patients in a structured treatment pathway, under consultant supervision.
• Patient counseling during the daily telephone hours and answering messages from patients in SP.
• Handling of CGRP antibody treatments, Botox treatments, and giving GON blocks.
• Assist doctors in the outpatient clinic ad hoc.
• Participate in teaching and training of patients, colleagues, guests and students from home and abroad.

We are looking for a nurse who

• Would preferably have experience with, for example, outpatient work, neurological patients, pain patients or patient education, but this is not a requirement.
• Is familiar with administrative tasks as well as SP.
• Wants to develop skills and engage in multidisciplinary collaboration and influence the development of DHC.
• Can work independently and in a structured manner and is good at conveying knowledge.
• Has initiative, thrives with many different tasks and is good at seeing opportunities and finding solutions.
• Is a good colleague who emphasizes good collaboration.

Your multidisciplinary colleagues at DHC will be specialists, medical secretaries, physiotherapists and psychologists. In addition, we have close collaboration with the various headache research groups, specialist consultants, other headache clinics – particularly in the Region of Eastern Denmark – as well as the National Knowledge Center for Headache.

In the clinic, all professions actively participate in daily planning and in the center's development. Working hours and employment terms

Hours: 37 hours per week.

Salary and employment terms: In accordance with the applicable collective agreement. You are under the employment covered by the current working time agreement entered into between the Regions’ Salary and Tariff Board and DSR.

The clinic is currently open Monday to Friday during daytime. Your working hours will therefore primarily fall within this timeframe. The region is a 24/7 area, and you may, based on concrete needs, be scheduled for shifts outside the unit's opening hours in accordance with the rules in the applicable working time agreement.

Start: January 1, 2027 or as agreed.
