About the job

Do you want to use your nursing professional skills where citizen journeys require both clinical insight, coordination and close interdisciplinary collaboration?

And are you keen to help shape a new professional practice from the start?

Then you can become part of our upcoming health and care placements in Høng.

We are looking for a nurse who is motivated by complex citizen journeys and by putting their professional skills to use – both close to the citizen and in sparring with colleagues.

The position is 32–37 hours per week and is primarily day shifts with 2–6 evening shifts over a 12-week period and working every 3rd weekend. We want to start on 1 January 2027.

A workplace with rehabilitation at the core

From January 2027 the new health and care placements in Høng will open. Here we meet citizens who still need treatment, rehabilitation, care or support before they can return home or move on to a temporary placement in the municipality.

Citizen journeys can be complex and variable, and therefore we work closely across disciplines. What unites our efforts is that we start from the citizen's resources and work purposefully to ensure the individual regains as much independence and security as possible.

In addition to the health and care placements we have six temporary placements for citizens with reduced physical or mental function as well as citizens needing a temporary stay, for example as respite for relatives.

Your nursing expertise gets a central place

As a nurse you will be an important professional collaborator in the house. You will handle nursing tasks around the citizens, but your role also extends beyond direct nursing.

You will among other things

  • support and spar with colleagues on nursing-related issues
  • contribute to competence development and professional learning in daily practice
  • plan and deliver professional teaching
  • contribute to quality, patient safety and professional direction
  • create coherence and an overview in complex citizen journeys
  • work closely with other professional groups, relatives and relevant partners.

Be part of shaping something new

You come in at a time when not everything is defined – and we see that as an opportunity.

Together we will develop good workflows, find the right interfaces between professions and create a strong shared practice around the new health and care placements. We will, among other things, work with distribution of competences, cross-disciplinary collaboration, sector transitions, patient safety and coherent citizen journeys.

Therefore the position is also for you if you want to contribute with your perspectives and help translate professionalism into a practice that works for both citizens and colleagues.

We are looking for you who...

First and foremost, you are a professionally engaged nurse who thrives in collaboration with others.

You work in a structured way and can maintain an overview, even when a citizen's journey changes. You have an eye for the citizen's overall situation and see cross-disciplinary collaboration as a prerequisite for success.

We also look for you who

  • wants to share your knowledge and make others professionally stronger
  • actively participates in professional development
  • meets citizens and relatives with calm, respect and understanding
  • sees opportunities and solutions when situations change
  • works rehabilitatively and has an eye for the citizen's own resources
  • preferably has experience with complex citizen journeys.

You will be part of a strong interdisciplinary environment

At the health and care placements, nurses work side by side with social and health care assistants, social and health helpers, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, educators as well as house and kitchen assistants.

We prioritise that you settle well into both the tasks and the community. Therefore you will receive an individual introductory course and be assigned a mentor at your start.

And because we are about to establish the new health and care placements, you also have a special opportunity to be involved from the beginning and make your professional mark on the workplace we will create together.

Salary and terms of employment

Salary and terms of employment are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and the rules on local wage formation. Starting salary is step 4, currently approx. DKK 30,000 for 37 hours, of course there can be individual negotiation based on your experience and professional competencies.

A criminal record check will be obtained before employment.
