TMS, processes and BI

Would you like to help us get more value out of our systems – and do you have the technical and business understanding to challenge both the system landscape and the workflows?

At Kristian Rytter SSC we are looking for a technically strong and process-oriented colleague who can combine daily system support with development and improvements. Your first and primary focus will be the TMS system TruckPlanner used in Kristian Rytter Transport. Here you will help users, strengthen the use of the system, and ensure that functions and data create value in daily operations.

Your first focus: Get TruckPlanner (TMS) to create value

You will become the central internal resource for TruckPlanner and work closely with the dispatch office, the drivers, the administration and management. You must understand their daily routines, solve concrete challenges and identify the causes of recurring problems.

It is about both supporting daily operations and getting more out of the system’s possibilities. You must be able to assess whether a challenge requires changes in configuration, integrations, data foundations or workflows – and follow the solution all the way through.

• Support, train and guide users in TruckPlanner and ensure consistent and appropriate use.
• Diagnose, prioritize and follow up on problems in collaboration with users and system suppliers.
• Analyze and improve processes from order and planning to registration and invoicing.
• Ensure data quality and optimize the interaction between TruckPlanner, Navision and other relevant systems.
• Identify untapped opportunities in TruckPlanner and translate them into concrete improvements that work in practice.

Stable operation and better processes

You will also work with the future operation and development of our business systems. You must create an overview of systems, integrations and data flows and challenge the current setup with a focus on stability, efficiency and the business needs.

• Contribute to stable and future-proof system operation through documentation, clear responsibilities and structured handling of changes.
• Map workflows and identify double work, manual tasks and opportunities for automation.
• Drive improvement projects from needs assessment and requirements specification to testing, implementation and follow-up on effect.
• Collaborate with IT, finance and external suppliers on solutions that hang together across the organization.

Building BI across the business

BI is an independent area of responsibility across Kristian Rytter Group’s companies and business areas. You will help build a common BI foundation that consolidates relevant data from our systems and makes them usable for both management and the individual business area.

• Identify reporting and decision-support needs in collaboration with management and the individual business areas.
• Establish and quality-assure data foundations, data models and data flows from relevant systems across the group.
• Develop dashboards, reports and key figures with common definitions and room for the needs of the individual business areas.
• Ensure maintenance and further development of the BI solutions and support that insights are actively used in operations and management.

Who are you?

You have solid technical system understanding and experience in analyzing and improving business processes. You can go in depth with configuration, integrations and data flows and at the same time understand how the solutions affect employees’ daily work and the company’s operations.

Your background could be in business systems, IT, digitalization or process development. The crucial thing is that you can combine technical insight with business understanding and practical execution.

• Have experience with support and further development of TMS, ERP or other mission-critical business systems.
• Have worked with integrations, APIs and data handling and can set qualified requirements for suppliers.
• Have experience building BI solutions, data modeling and reporting, preferably in Power BI, and can translate different business needs into a coherent data foundation.
• Can navigate complex processes and constructively challenge existing solutions – even when it requires changing habits.
• Communicate technical issues at eye level and build support among users and colleagues.
• Work independently and in a structured way and take responsibility for tasks being completed and closed.
• Thrive with both daily support and development tasks and can prioritize between urgent needs and long-term improvements.

Experience with TruckPlanner, Navision or the transport and logistics industry is an advantage, but not a requirement. You understand the link between operations, registrations and finance and are motivated by making systems and processes simpler and more efficient.
