Syvstjerneskolen is seeking two teachers for the lower primary – with a passion for Danish, mathematics and strong children's communities

We are looking for two engaged and relationship-capable teachers for our lower school with start on November 1, 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter .

We have two positions

• A permanent teaching position with Danish as the main subject
• An maternity substitute with mathematics as the main subject , until June 30, 2027

In addition, we need to cover physical education, science/technology, English and Christian studies, as well as our forest school . We are flexible with subject distribution and will tailor the tasks based on your professional competencies and interests.

The most important for us is to find two skilled colleagues who are passionate about children's learning, well-being and development.

At Syvstjerneskolen learning is not limited to the classroom.

Through our Forest School we use the Hare Forest as an alternative learning environment, where children through nature, movement, investigative activities and practical tasks have the opportunity to experience mastery and develop new aspects of themselves.

The forest school is both an offering of nature and outdoor school teaching and a special pedagogical initiative that creates new participation opportunities for children in vulnerable positions.

Part of the tasks in one or both positions will therefore also include Forest School, just as there will be work with smaller student groups and the well-being of classes.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who

• Are a trained teacher with strong competencies in either Danish or Mathematics.
• Have clear classroom management and strong relational competencies so you can create safe learning spaces with room for all children.
• See team collaboration as a strength and derive energy from developing teaching together with colleagues.
• Are curious about your own practice and want to create varied teaching with room for both academic deepening, movement and investigative activities.
• Are passionate about children's well-being and development and see working with the community as a natural part of teaching.

Practical information

• Positions: A permanent teaching position and a time-limited maternity substitute.
• Employment scope: The permanent position is full-time (100%), while the maternity substitute is 90% of full time.
• Start date: November 1, 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.
• Maternity substitute: Until June 30, 2027.
• Workplace: Syvstjerneskolen, Lillestjernen campus.

Salaries and employment terms follow the applicable collective agreement and the principles of Ny Løn.
