Taxhuset residential care facility seeks a social educator with an interest in neurology

Taxhuset is a specialized housing, activity and rehabilitation offer for adults with acquired brain injuries and pervasive physical and psychological disabilities. Here live 42 wonderful, funny and challenging people, who need a lot of help to make their daily life work.

We are currently seeking an engaged pedagogue with an interest in neurology for a permanent position with primarily day shifts and work every other weekend.

We are ambitious and place great value in the residents having an experience of quality of life, self-determination and development. We have a solid foundation for good interdisciplinary collaboration with many different professions such as social- and health- assistants/caregivers, pedagogues and pedagogical assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, technical service, administrative staff and unskilled workers.

Salary and terms of employment

Salary and terms of employment according to the applicable collective agreement. There will be an opportunity to negotiate the pay based on experience and competencies, but the contractual starting salary for a pedagogue on the day shift is DKK 34,402.23 per month plus pension. A criminal record check and references will be obtained upon hiring.
