About the job

We need a teacher who is passionate about working at a small school, where we naturally and flexibly help each other with a focus on our core task; the children's learning and well-being. You must be ready to join our professional learning communities, where one, among other things, opens up ones practice to colleagues, has coaching conversations and thoughtfully works to develop ones own practice for the benefit of the children.

We are committed to learning in diverse learning environments, where all children experience being in privileged positions.

As a teacher, you will be in a team with and collaborate closely with both educators and teachers to develop practice. We have prioritised having a number of two-adult hours, so you should be willing to and possibly have experience with developing co-teaching.

There is scheduled team time and opportunities for joint preparation time.

This school year there will be teaching hours for grades 3-6.

Gårslev School is beautifully located in the southern part of Vejle Municipality close to forests and Vejle Fjord. We have about 172 children in grades 0-6 and 24 engaged and development-oriented staff. The school is linked to an SFOI/SFOII and an evening club for the area's youth.

Employment terms

Salary and employment terms in accordance with the applicable collective agreement as well as the principles of Ny Løn. This is a permanent position with commencement on 1 December 2026 or earlier.

Information about starting salary

Employment is in accordance with the collective agreement for teachers etc. in primary school and for adult education, sections 3-6 on wage determination. The expected starting salary per month for full-time, excluding pension and including the teaching allowance, lies in the range of 35,138 to 41,644 DKK. It should be noted that final placement, including collective agreement basis and salary level, is determined based on your education, seniority and qualifications and the specific offered position.
