Ødis School seeks an affirming and relationally strong teacher

Ødis School seeks an affirming, relationally strong and engaged teacher for a permanent position. We are looking for a teacher who can teach the following subjects:

Music, woodwork, mathematics, history, physical education and Christianity .

You should expect to teach both in the early years and in the middle school.

The position is to be filled from 1 January 2027.

The position is full-time.

Qualifications

• Are a trained teacher with a major in mathematics and preferably one or more of the aforementioned subjects
• Are affirming in your approach to children and believe that all children do the best they can
• Take responsibility, are clear and good at classroom management
• Can plan and execute engaging and inspiring teaching that meets all students
• Are open and development-oriented and see opportunities rather than limitations
• Have a positive outlook and good collaboration skills
• Are responsible, stable, flexible and interested in professional development
• Are focused on creating well-being for children so they enjoy going to school and feel motivated to learn more

As a teacher at Ødis School you must be able to create routines and structures that support students' learning and well-being.

Ødis School is a small rural school serving grades 0-6. The school is situated in a scenic setting in Kolding Municipality by Ødis Lake.
