Teacher for Danish, English and Physical Education at the middle level

Are you passionate about the middle years, and would you like to help create good teaching with room for both body, language and citizenship? Then we need you at Boesagerskolen.

We are seeking a teacher who can cover the subjects Danish, English and Physical Education in our middle grades.

At Boesagerskolen we want more than just going through the annual plan. We are working towards ensuring that students experience that what they learn can be used in the real world, with the school's focus on active citizenship. This applies whether you're reading fiction in Danish, practicing speaking in English, or staying active in PE.

What will you be doing?

As our new colleague, you will become part of a team where we collaborate closely, support each other in daily work, and share both good ideas and the hard days.

In our teaching, we place emphasis on

• Make the subjects relevant to real life: We tackle topics from the students' own everyday lives – such as community, health, well-being and sustainability.
• Give the students the confidence to participate: We create a safe environment where students dare to say something in class, listen to each other and take part in the community.
• Let the subjects come alive: We use investigative, creative and bodily methods, so that the teaching doesn't only take place at the desks.

All of this naturally goes hand in hand with high academic standards. If you have other subjects or ideas, we are always curious to hear about them.

Who are you?

• You are a trained teacher with a major in or experience in Danish, English and/or Physical Education.
• You enjoy working closely with your colleagues in the team.
• You know that good classroom management and strong relationships with the students are prerequisites for successful teaching.
