Teacher for special education in Karrebæk

Lille Næstved School, Karrebæk department, is seeking an engaged and competent teacher with experience in special pedagogy for our level 2 offer for students with psychosocial and emotional challenges. The position is primarily in the upper grades with some hours in the middle grades. We are seeking a humanistic profile.

About the offer

• 3 groups: elementary (1st–3rd grade), middle grades (4th–6th grade) and upper grades (7th–9th grade)
• 8 students per class with one teacher and one pedagogue

We are looking for a teacher with

• Experience in differentiated teaching and close collaboration with pedagogues
• Experience with leading Danish final exams
• Ability to understand and support students' initiatives and well-being
• Affirming language and creation of psychological safety
• Focus on good relationships and community
• Consciousness of body language and nonverbal communication
• Support for students' mental well-being through relationship work
• Recognition of mistakes and ability to repair relationships

About us: Lille Næstved School is a large departmentally organized school on three sites with about 1,300 students. The Karrebæk department is located in beautiful surroundings close to forest and water. The general department is one-stream from 0th to 6th grade. Salary and employment terms are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement concluded between KL and the Danish Union of Teachers.
