Due to continued development and growth, we are seeking an engaged and capable teacher for Stævnes School and Residential Care Facility with employment from May 1, 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

About the position

As a teacher at Stævnes School and Residential Care Facility, you will play a central role in the students' academic, social and personal development.

You will teach both in small groups and in 1:1 sessions, where the instruction is adapted to the individual student’s resources, needs and development goals.

We are looking for a teacher who can combine strong professional competencies with a professional and relationship-oriented approach, and who thrives on thinking creatively and flexibly in their teaching.

Your tasks

Teaching students in small groups and individual instructional programs

Planning, implementing and evaluating teaching based on the student’s individual needs

Contributing to the development of innovative and motivating learning environments

Supporting students’ academic, social and personal development

Actively participating in interdisciplinary collaborations and meeting forums

Collaborating with parents and other partners

Helping to create a safe, structured and development-oriented everyday life for the students
