Teacher for Virring School as of 1 November 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter

We are seeking a teacher for 5th grade with subjects Danish and/or mathematics, English and preferably Christianity and art.

There are two classes in the year group, which work closely together. You will thus be the form teacher together with two colleagues for the entire year group.

You must be prepared to plan instruction and the other tasks in close collaboration with your colleagues.

The position is currently 90% (33.3 hours per week) with the possibility of 100% if desired.

You will be included in the subject distribution in spring 2027. The expectation is that in the long term you will teach from 5th to 9th grade.

About Landsbyordningen Virring

Landsbyordningen consists of Virring School and SFO/leisure club/after-school club as well as Hylke School and SFO.

There are also three day-care institutions: Bakkehuset, Toftegården and Tusindfryd.

All institutions in Landsbyordningen Virring have staff groups with high professionalism, strong social capital and a strong focus on the core task with the child at the center. About Virring School

Virring School has pupils from 0 through and including 9th grade and currently about 380 pupils. In SFO there are 175 pupils enrolled, in the after-school club there are 88 enrolled.

The evening club is open for young people aged 13-18.

The early years department in Hylke with pupils from 0 through and including 2nd grade currently has 25 pupils.

Initiatives at the School

Focus is to tune the small gears so that a good school becomes even better. In the last few years we have focused on dyslexia-friendly teaching and practical subjects. We have a strong wish that all our students experience being in privileged positions during a school week. In the 2026-27 school year we have established a working group that will delve into how we create better spaces for deepening and ensure cohesive school days without unnecessary changes.
