Teacher sought for Næstved Special School

Næstved Specialskole is the municipality's level 3 offering in the specialized area. Currently there are 114 enrolled students. The students can attend school, SFO and club here with us from 0th to 9th/10th grade. Students are referred here because they need specialized support and, as a starting point, the following target group descriptions:

• Multiple functional impairments
• Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Pervasive learning difficulties
• Emotional and regulation difficulties
• A cognitive functioning level that lies well below average

At Næstved Special School we are focused on creating learning, well-being and development for all students. We work in safe learning communities where each child can develop academically, socially and personally in interaction with other students and professional adults.

We are looking for a staff member who can see themselves engaging in different contexts and at different levels; your mindset is not fixed to a specific profile or group of children. In this school year, the teaching is placed in the lower school in a small class, where you are always several together to solve tasks and adapt the teaching.

• Works professionally, competently and affirmatively with children
• Has understanding of and experience with teaching students with extensive cognitive challenges

• Has a sunny disposition and an eye for children's potential
