Rolling schedule on Maternity/Delivery, the Operating Ward, Dialysis and Bed Management

We are looking for a skilled and engaged service assistant/cleaning assistant for Team 8, who wants to become part of a well-functioning evening team and join in close multidisciplinary collaboration around the patients at Holbæk Hospital.

The position is organized as a rolling function, where you rotate between the team's different work areas. Therefore, it is important that you are flexible, proactive and able to work independently, while actively contributing to the good collaboration within the team.

In Team 8 we work closely with the nursing staff across the departments. Your working hours will as a rule lie within the time frame 13:30–20:54 on weekdays and weekends.

We expect that you

• Can speak, understand and communicate in Danish, as the work involves close contact with patients, nursing staff and colleagues.
• Have a positive approach to the work as a service assistant/cleaning assistant.
• Can work independently based on work plans and service sheets and take responsibility for newly arising tasks.
• Can keep an overview in a busy daily routine and prioritise your tasks.
• Are responsible, proactive and have a high work ethic.
• Are service-minded, flexible and positive towards development and changes.
• Have good collaboration skills and contribute positively to the multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Are caring, welcoming and have situational awareness in meetings with patients.
• Can use IT at user level, as we among other things use the SP booking system.
• Actively contribute to a good working environment and a strong collegial community.

Your areas of work will include

• Cleaning of patient rooms according to current INSTA 800- and NIR- standards.
• Cleaning of equipment and positioning/accessories.
• Bed management.
• Intermediate and final cleaning of operating rooms.
• Restocking of cupboards, drawers and shelves with items, blankets and liquids in Maternity/Delivery.
• Waste disposal.
• Other ad hoc service and cleaning tasks.

Who are you?

We would like you to have professional experience or training as a cleaning technician or service assistant, but the most important is that you want the work and to be an active part of Team 8.

You work independently and take initiative when you see a task that needs to be solved. At the same time you thrive on collaborating and helping your colleagues when needed.

The evening shift is a smaller team where we place great emphasis on collaboration, flexibility, responsibility and good collegiality. We help each other and collectively handle the tasks that arise during the shift.

Employment area

Starting salary for union employees

The region is obliged to inform you of the starting salary for the position. You will be informed of the base salary, centrally fixed allowances and pension in the relevant collective agreement. In addition to the starting salary, the pay may include any negotiated allowances depending on the position, your experience and qualifications.
