Team Coordinator with operational responsibility for Carelink Pleje Odense

Carelink Pleje Fyn is looking for a team coordinator with operations responsibility for our department in Odense.

We are looking for someone who has solid planning experience from home care, and who is motivated by making the daily operations work in practice. You must be able to develop good shift and route plans, ensure the right employees with the right citizens and plan with focus on permanent staff and high continuity. The goal is a daily life where citizens experience safety, quality and home care they can rely on.

You will be responsible for your own team and become a central key person in daily operations. At the same time you will be part of an evolving organization where things move quickly, decision paths are short, and you will have great opportunity to influence both your own role and the way we run home care.

We are a nationwide care organization with activities in more than 20 municipalities and work every day to create safety and good citizen journeys in close collaboration with the municipalities.

About the position

As a team coordinator you become the central hub for daily planning and operations around your team in Odense.

Your primary task is to ensure stable, efficient and cohesive operations in your area . You must have an overview of staffing, shift plans, routes and citizens' needs and be able to make the necessary operational decisions when everyday life changes.

Planning and coordination are a central part of the role. You must therefore have solid planning experience from home care and be used to getting staffing, routes and citizens' needs to add up – even when today's plans change.

You are not alone in the health care development. At Carelink Pleje Fyn we have health care leaders and nurses who support the professional quality and development around the citizens. Your primary focus will be to ensure a stable and well-functioning operation and create the best framework for employees' work.

The position is full-time and primarily during daytime hours. As part of the role also includes handling the on-call phone on weekdays and weekends according to the duty roster.

Your main tasks

You shall among other things

• ensure good shift and route planning and continuously adapt plans when needs change
• allocate staff and tasks so the right competencies match the citizens' needs
• plan with focus on permanent staff, continuity for citizens and good use of resources
• handle sickness, holidays and urgent changes and ensure a stable daily operation
• coordinate daily contact with the municipality and be a visible sparring partner for the staff
• contribute to developing work processes and create an ever better and more efficient operation.

We expect that you

• are educated social- and health care assistant or nurse
• have experience from home care and solid experience with shift and route planning
• have experience with Nexus and can use the system confidently in daily work
• are strong in scheduling and can get citizens' needs, staff competencies and resources to add up
• work structured, keep an overview and can make decisions when everyday life changes
• communicate clearly and professionally and thrive on taking responsibility for daily operations.

A role with the possibility to grow

As a rule you do not get formal personnel responsibility. However you get a large responsibility for the daily operations around your team and freedom to make the necessary decisions within the agreed framework.

There is an opportunity to grow with the role , and for the right candidate the position can over time develop to also include personnel responsibility. How the role develops will among other things depend on your experience, competencies and ambitions.
