Drive the development of townhouse projects with a market leader

As Team Leader at HusCompagniet, you will be part of the B2B business and report directly to the Director of B2B. You will have overall responsibility for the design and sustainability team and you will lead a team of 2-4 employees responsible for the design of townhouse projects for the B2B segment across Denmark. You will play a central role in leading and developing the design function, ensuring efficient processes, high quality, and strong cross-functional coordination.

From the first sketches and permits to the approved main project, you are responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the agreed quality, before they are handed over to production. You will drive the design process for housing projects with budgets of up to approximately DKK 250 million and ensure planning, coordination, and progress in close collaboration with internal and external partners.

At the same time you identify and manage risks, optimize the project flow, and provide an overview of all project phases. An important part of the role is to ensure that all technical solutions are buildable, well-developed, and meet current legislation, quality requirements, and HusCompagniet's standards. You quality assure drawings and technical documentation, coordinate cross-disciplinary reviews and follow the projects through execution, including a focus on documentation and commissioning.

The role requires close collaboration with clients, advisors, and internal stakeholders, where you through clear communication and strong stakeholder management create a common direction and ensure smooth execution of the projects. In collaboration with the rest of the team, you will thus become an important part of the continued development of HusCompagniet B2B.

Strong Design Manager with good leadership skills

We expect you to have a background as an engineer, architect, or contractor with experience as a consulting or turnkey contractor. It is advantageous if you have previously held a similar position as a Design Manager and worked with housing construction (low-rise and/or multi-storey buildings).

In addition, you have experience with sustainability including Swan Ecolabel or DGNB-certified projects, not necessarily as a certified consultant, but you have knowledge of and can navigate the challenges associated with certification. It is expected that you are able to drive two to three projects simultaneously at 30-150 million DKK each, and that you understand ICT and various sub-documents.

You possess solid coordination, communication, and negotiation skills enabling you to drive projects effectively in-house.

You have a natural ability to demonstrate personal integrity, authority, self-control, and decisiveness, which enables you to prevent, manage, and resolve conflicts based on respectful and clear communication. Additionally, you are eager to take on the leadership responsibility and capable of creating a motivating work environment for your employees.
