Team Leader – Design & Engineering (Kolding)

At Spæncom we are looking for an engaged Team Leader for our Design department in Kolding.

You will be responsible for the daily operations of a team of drafters, technicians and engineers, where your most important task will be to create the best framework for the team to succeed – both technically and personally.

You will become a central sparring partner for the employees and play an important role in ensuring quality, progress and a strong collaboration across the organisation.

Who are you?

We imagine you have a relevant technical education as an engineer, and that you

• have experience with design and engineering of construction projects
• have leadership experience or a natural talent for inspiring others
• work in a structured way and have an eye for quality, resources and deadlines
• communicate clearly and motivate people around you
• thrive on cross-organisational collaboration
• are responsible, solution-oriented and motivated by creating results through others

Your responsibilities

As Team Leader you will among other things be responsible for

• ensuring daily planning and prioritisation of the team’s tasks
• coordinating and following up on the team’s tasks
• supporting employees’ professional development through sparring and feedback
• ensuring high quality and progress in the department’s deliveries
• collaborating closely with project managers, production and other departments
• contributing to the development and optimization of processes and workflows
• creating a working environment characterized by collaboration, well-being and engagement

Your primary task is to create a healthy balance in the workload, and ensure a good overview of the tasks in the team.
