Become a team leader for neuro-rehabilitation and work-related rehabilitation in Holbæk Municipality Health Center

In Holbæk Municipality’s Health Center you will have professional and personnel responsibility for 17 therapists who work with neuro-rehabilitation and work-related rehabilitation. The team works across professions and focuses on cohesive pathways based on the citizen’s needs, resources and goals.

We prioritize high professionalism, interdisciplinary collaboration and a good collegial atmosphere. Development and operations go hand in hand, and management creates solutions together with the employees.

Two professional areas – one team

As team leader you will be responsible for two different, yet closely connected areas; neuro-rehabilitation and work-related rehabilitation. Both areas require strong professionalism, clear coordination and a focus on facilitating small trials together with the employees as well as evaluating and adjusting. You should also keep an eye on developing each employee professionally and personally.

Neuro-rehabilitation

The neuro team consists of 17 therapists – 9 occupational therapists and 8 physiotherapists – who handle § 140 rehabilitation for citizens with brain injury and other neurological diagnoses.

The rehabilitation takes place in the Health Center, in Sports City facilities, in the citizen’s home and in their immediate surroundings. This makes it possible to plan training close to the citizen’s daily life and set concrete goals.

The team collaborates with home care, the municipality’s brain injury coordinators, Center for Special Education and the neuro-educational offering for cohesive rehabilitation pathways.

Work-related rehabilitation

Five therapists also handle rehabilitation for citizens referred from the Job Center via LAB law. These are citizens with consequences after concussion or needs for support in coping with stress or other strain.

The effort should support citizens’ possibilities to manage their challenges and get closer to the labor market. It requires close collaboration with the Job Center and attention to the citizen’s resources, health, daily life and attachment to the labor market.

Your role as team leader

You must set a clear direction for the team and create the framework that enables employees to solve the core task with high quality. The team is characterized by high professionalism and is self-organizing regarding training, meetings and other activities.

You must be able to lead through dialogue, trust and clarity – and at the same time have an eye for operations, prioritization, resources and quality.

Your daily duties will include, among others

• Professional sparring and personnel leadership of employees with different professional competencies and tasks
• Responsibility for professional quality in neuro-rehabilitation and work-related rehabilitation
• Focus on well-being, motivation, development and a good working environment
• Planning and prioritizing the team’s resources with a focus on both citizens’ needs and employees’ well-being
• Close collaboration with the other team leaders on coordination of the Health Center’s overall resources across teams
• Collaboration with internal and external actors, including the Job Center and partners around neuro-rehabilitation
• Development of offers and workflows in close collaboration with employees and leadership colleagues

A strong leadership community

You will become part of the leadership team at the Health Center, which consists of a leader and two team leaders responsible for preventive and training efforts under § 140, § 119, § 4 and LAB law.

We work closely together on the core task, the organization’s development and are focused on creating good frameworks for employees and citizens. You will have leadership colleagues who share knowledge, provide sparring and collaborate to find solutions across the organization.

Candidates who proceed to a second interview must prepare a profile, where individualized feedback from an HR consultant is provided.

Prior to the second interview, you will be given a case with 30 minutes of preparation time. The case will be part of the interview.
