About the job
We are looking for an IT-technical team leader for our team of IT, information security and GDPR.
As team leader you will assume the personnel responsibility for the team's five employees: two GDPR consultants, two information security coordinators and an IT project manager/ESDH system owner as well as an external DPO. It is not essential that you have management experience, but you must have the ability to build trusted collaborative relationships.
The employees are self-driven and characterized by a high level of professionalism. You do not need to be a specialist in all of the team's subject areas, but you must create the framework for professional sparring, prioritization and coordination and ensure a clear framework for the team's overall tasks.
The task The operation of our server and network as well as our support will move on December 1 to IT Forsyningen, and for our new team leader there is a major task in being project manager and ongoing point of contact to IT-Forsyningen, which, especially in the first year, will carry significant weight. Also in the future there will be a task at the interface to IT Forsyningen, and the ongoing contact and coordination this requires.
As team leader you will often be a bridge-builder, and with a good system overview and understanding of IT architecture you can lead processes on behalf of Hørsholm Municipality and handle contact with IT Forsyningen and other suppliers. You possess good organizational understanding and have an eye for the stakeholders' terms and needs in the municipality's various centers.
Together with your employees you shall actively contribute to solving the team's tasks, which in the coming year will include both the implementation of NIS2 and continued focus on the GDPR task, including anchoring in the organization. It is therefore a prerequisite that you can work into this type of complex tasks and can make both technical and legal issues understandable for the recipient.
As team leader you are a “playing coach” and actively participate in the daily task solving, including for example technical IT security input to risk assessment, management of criticality assessment, ensuring in the future that the municipality's security investments are coherent and aligned with the risk, being an active part of the municipality's IT preparedness, assessment of security breaches in relation to GDPR and significant incidents in relation to NIS2 as well as being responsible for various systems.
You also contribute with a view on cross-cutting contexts and contacts outward and upward in the organization. You are able to drive processes forward through trust-based collaborations and build the ownership in the organization that results in successful implementation.
You will have, among other things, active cross-departmental collaboration with the municipality's digitization consultants, which can consist of technical sparring, advising or coordinating IT procurements and have responsibility for portfolio management, contribute to screening, change, phasing, etc. Here you will need your technical knowledge, your strong eye for IT architecture and good collaboration with IT Forsyningen.
As a person you are good at forming relationships and naturally engage in sparring with colleagues and stakeholders, where you are able to give room for different perspectives and support where needed. You have a strong drive, but also patience to persevere and finish even long-term projects.
About you You have a solid IT professional background and experience from several of the areas GDPR/ISO 2700X, risk assessment, information security, IT project management and vendor management.
With your strong technical IT background you have an understanding of IT infrastructure, architecture, security and system landscapes. You can create an overview of complex technical solutions and translate them into clear recommendations and decisions.
It is not a requirement that you have management experience, but you should have an interest in developing into a leadership role.
We expect that you
- Can actively contribute to the team’s tasks and particularly drive IT projects, system upgrades, supplier collaboration and cross-cutting IT-related initiatives. You should also have sufficient understanding of GDPR and information security to support and lead cross teamwork across the team’s disciplines
- Can act as a bridge builder and ensure the development of the forward-looking collaboration with IT Forsyningen
- Can drive cross-functional task communities in collaboration with the municipality's digitization consultants with a focus on development of AI and other digital solutions
- Have a relevant education in IT, information security or digitalization, preferably supplemented with further education in project management or leadership as well as relevant certifications such as Microsoft Credential, ITIL, CISSP, or ISO 2700X.
- Have good system understanding and quickly can form an overview of IT architecture
- Have experience with and understand the complexity of the GDPR and information security task
- Thrives in a collaborative environment and can handle a broad task portfolio
- Works in a structured, independent and committed way
- Communicates clearly and professionally both in writing and orally and can translate technical issues into an understandable form for both management and other stakeholders.
- Finds it interesting to work in a politically led organization
