Team Leader for the State's Digital Workplace

Do you want to lead the development of the state's digital workplace? In Statens IT you will have the responsibility to create direction, coherence and well-being in a team that ensures a modern and stable IT experience for the entire state.

About the position As a team leader you will be a central figure in the work to optimize and drive the state's digital workplace. You will be responsible for creating progress in the area's tasks and ensure that the solutions support users' needs across the organization.

Your primary tasks will be to

• Lead and develop the employees with a focus on clear priorities, well-being and buy-in
• Support the development of stable and secure solutions across PCs, iPads, mobile devices, M365, open source, cloud and on-premises
• Create close collaboration across teams and disciplines so that the individual solutions function as one integrated digital workplace
• Translate needs from users and partners into clear goals and concrete tasks for the team
• Ensure high quality in the deliverables and create room for ongoing improvements.

About you We are looking for a leader who can combine human insight with IT professional understanding and structure.

Your qualifications and competencies

• You have solid experience with people management and the ability to create direction and security for your employees, also in periods of change
• You have experience with ITIL and are used to managing and following up on deliverables via SLAs and KPIs (preferably with knowledge of ServiceNow)
• You are good at prioritizing tasks, developing competencies and translating strategic goals into concrete results
• You are a strong partner who can navigate between different stakeholders and create momentum with both inclusion and impact

It would be an advantage if you

• Have experience with IT leadership and a general understanding of digital workplace platforms such as M365 (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive), Exchange, endpoint management (e.g., Intune and SCCM) as well as Digital Post and video platforms. You do not need to be a specialist in all tools, but you can talk about them.

Statens IT is an agency in the Ministry of Finance group with about 800 employees, which delivers IT services to 21 ministerial areas and their 60,000 users. At Statens IT we work to run efficient IT support and ensure a high and uniform IT service across the state. Main tasks include operation, support, development and harmonization of IT in the state.
