About the job

Do you have a high drive and can keep i.e. your nose to the grindstone? And would you like to help build and shape a new offering for citizens with complex care needs? Can your leadership experience and professional expertise ensure that we reach the goal of establishing our new temporary 24-hour placements in the Municipality of Copenhagen?

Then it might be you we are looking for!

About the position

We are looking for an engaged and experienced nurse with leadership experience to establish our brand-new temporary 24-hour placements in the Municipality of Copenhagen. The offering opens as planned on January 1, 2027, and you will play a central role in the start-up and the ongoing development of the offering.

From start to next stop

At first the site will accommodate 12 beds. During the period up to 2028, the capacity will gradually expand to 23 beds. Thereafter the plan is for the offering to be gathered at one common location together with the current department that today is housed on Amager. So you will become an important part of both building and establishing the new offering and the cooperation around the consolidation in 2028.

Your tasks will include

  • staff management of, among others, nurses, social and health care assistants and, in time, possibly therapists
  • ensure high quality in the care and treatment of citizens
  • coordinate complex care and treatment processes, including allocating resources and helping to manage the processes
  • contribute to the development and implementation of workflows in a newly started offering
  • help to create a shared culture and structure in connection with the upcoming consolidation of the departments
  • ensure documentation and follow-up in accordance with applicable guidelines.

We expect that you

  • are a trained nurse and have documented leadership experience, preferably with a diploma in leadership
  • already have experience leading different professional groups
  • have experience with start-up and development of new offerings is an advantage
  • are professionally well-founded and have experience with complex processes within the care sector
  • keep an overview and can make decisions, also in pressured situations
  • have good collaboration skills and thrive in a multidisciplinary environment
  • are passionate about creating well-being and development for both citizens and colleagues.

We offer

We would like to offer you a unique opportunity to influence the development and implementation of a completely new offering for citizens with complex care needs. It will be your opportunity to be the driving force both in start-up and, in time, consolidation of the two departments. As chief nurse we expect you to establish good collaboration and ensure consistent working practices ahead of the final merger of the departments.

We guarantee that you will have a varied daily life with varied and meaningful tasks in close collaboration with staff and another leadership colleague from Amager. We would like you to succeed in the position, and therefore you will receive ongoing close professional sparring with the existing leader of Temporary Municipal Care Placements on Amager. At the same time there will be good opportunities for competency development along the way.

Salary and employment terms

The position is 37 hours per week. Salary and employment are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and qualifications. We will obtain a criminal record check in connection with a job offer. We wish to fill the position from December 1, 2026.
