We are indeed looking for our next team coordinator in Børnehuset Nattergalen.

About the role

As team coordinator you will be responsible for one of our teams in the kindergarten. Nattergalen is organized into four teams: 2 kindergarten teams, 1 toddler team and 1 special team

You will become part of a coordinator community with two other coordinators and participate in weekly coordination meetings with management. Here we create overview, coherence and common direction in a large, but intimate house.

Your most important task is to be the focal point for daily coordination in your team and across the house. We have physically many square meters, and therefore strong collaboration, helpfulness and flexibility are essential. That is exactly what makes us almost never have to cancel – we lift together.

At the same time you are fully part of the pedagogical practice. You are attached to a room and work on equal terms with your colleagues with and around the children. As a coordinator you are also a link to the management and help ensure that our pedagogy and view of children live in everyday life – not just on paper.

We are many here; 36 toddler children, 77 preschool children and 16 children in our special group – but as one parent once said: “You are really big – but doesn’t feel big.”

We take that as a great compliment. Presence, relationships and trust are the foundation of our everyday life – both in the work with the children and in the collaboration with the parents.

We are rooted in athletic pedagogy, but we have just adjusted our profile to fit us better. Going forward the focus is imagination, senses and play. We work thematically in fixed periods to create a clear thread and opportunities for immersion and repetition – for both children and adults.

Some of the adults perform theatre for the children, and we have our own staff band “Tju-hej band” . It should be fun to go to work – and everything becomes a little easier when work goes like a game.

• Are clear and present in the company of the children and can see the world from the child’s perspective
• Can organize and create structure in daily life together with others
