About the job

Do you want to lead the daily management of a multidisciplinary acute team while maintaining a close connection to clinical work?

The acute team has grown, and we are therefore strengthening the daily leadership with a team leader role. We are seeking a team leader who can create direction, structure and coherence as well as ensure that the team's workflows follow the target group and patient pathway descriptions.

The position consists initially of approximately 50 percent leadership tasks and 50 percent clinical tasks.

About the Acute Team

The Acute Team is located at Nordstjernevej in Glostrup and handles acute psychiatric patient pathways.

The team works closely with the Psychiatric Emergency Reception, the centre's other departments and outpatient units as well as municipalities, social psychiatry, general practitioners and other relevant partners.

The Acute Team is organizationally under the Psychiatric Emergency Reception (PAM). As team leader you report to the head nurse for PAM and the Acute Team.

Your role as team leader

You will be part of the centre's management team and are responsible for the daily leadership, operations and development of the Acute Team. The head nurse has the overall management, staffing and budget responsibility for PAM and the Acute Team.

Your main tasks will be to

  • Ensure daily professional leadership, operations and coordination
  • Create an overview of capacity, patient pathways and priorities
  • Allocate tasks and resources appropriately
  • Support professional sparring, supervision and competence development
  • Follow up on documentation, quality, patient safety and workflows
  • Contribute to recruitment, orientation and training
  • Conduct agreed performance and development interviews (MUS), follow-up and sickness absence discussions
  • Support wellbeing and a good multidisciplinary working environment
  • Ensure shift, vacation and teaching/education planning
  • Involve employees in relevant decisions and development tasks
  • Support coherent patient pathways in collaboration with patients, relatives and internal and external partners

Leadership, clinic and cross-disciplinary collaboration

You will participate in clinical patient work for about half of your working time. Your caseload will be adjusted so there is time for the daily leadership task. The concrete distribution can be adjusted according to the team's tasks, staffing and development needs.

You are expected to participate in the centre's management meetings with a particular focus on ambulatory workflows and objectives.

You will also participate in the Coordination Group for the acute area, which works across the region's acute hospitals.

We are looking for you who

  • Are a registered nurse
  • Have experience from psychiatry, preferably from acute or outpatient psychiatry
  • Have leadership experience or clear motivation to develop yourself as a leader
  • Can create direction, structure and followership
  • Communicate clearly, respectfully and inclusively
  • Can motivate staff and support good multidisciplinary collaboration
  • Can prioritise and maintain an overview in a rapidly changing everyday life
  • Have an understanding of quality, patient safety, work environment and responsible use of resources
  • Can collaborate across disciplines, units and sectors

We offer

  • A central role in the development of the Acute Team and the overall acute area
  • A position that combines leadership and clinical work
  • A close managerial collaboration with the head nurse
  • Opportunity to shape the team's clinical direction, workflows and competence development
  • A multidisciplinary workplace with complex and meaningful patient pathways
  • Leadership responsibility for an experienced, competent and professionally engaged staff group
  • Opportunity for relevant leadership development

Salary and employment terms

The position is 37 hours per week and is expected to be filled on December 1, 2026 or by agreement.

Salary and employment terms follow the collective agreement for leaders in the Health Cartel area, concluded between the Health Cartel's parties, including the Danish Nurses Association and RLTN.

The region is a 24/7 area, and you may, based on concrete needs, be scheduled for shifts outside the clinic's opening hours in accordance with the rules of the applicable working time agreement.
